  12.  Just purchased Cardinal MVP288XV.  Two questions not immediately
  13. apparent in documentation--

  15. 1-How to set modem so that you can hear ring, handshake, and connect?
  16.  
  17. 2-How to tell modem to show (when connected) baud rate (e.g., 28,800)
  18. instead of other number (57,600)??
  19.  
  20. Otherwise, modem does well, much better than junked USR Sporster in
  21. terms of connecting to my ISP reliably and consistently.
